“My Kody” that’s what I called her. She was a tough, territorial Blue Heeler. I remember on time there was a huge bull snake in our yard. and Kody knew she needed to defend our home. Kody cornered that snake and made sure everyone knew it didn’t belong. She loved the water almost as much as she loved the snow. In the winter, she wouldn’t allow us to shovel the snow without her help. She would always bite the snow as we threw it in the air. Making sure it took loner that it should. When we filled the kiddie pool she would jump in ab bite and bark at the water. After an accident, Kody was left with only 3 legs but you would never know it. She never slowed down until the very end of her 18 years. We have so many fond memories of my pup dog, it’s hard to pick only a few. She is so missed by us all. We love you Kody.
